Where does all the JW money go?
by LouBelle ini want to know.. does every kingdom hall, bethel and assembly hall belong to the watchtower, bible & tract society?.
each of those kingdom halls, bethels etc are built with the money obtained by that country's contributions.
if a loan is needed the bothers of that specific congregation pay off the loan.. the society has then an extremely huge amount of property worth billions of $$$$ who has control of all those funds?

The everlasting saga of The faithful and discreet slave class.
by MacHislopp inat the 128th annual meeting of the watch tower bible and tract society of pennsylvania, on october 6 th 2012 .
during this meeting “food at the proper time” was given and the most important, was given during a symposium of six talks by members of the governing body—brothers jackson, lösch, pierce, herd, lett, and splane— which analyzed and discussed the meaning of jesus’ words recorded at.
" (matthew 24: 45, 46) it must be conceded, then, that at the end ot the world, at the "time of the end", during the presence of the lord, during the harvest, he would have in the earth a servant who would be faithful and wise.

. . . from what I have read so far, CTR was the first Governing Body of modern times.
How did this governing body make its appearance in recent times? Evidently under the direction of Jehovah God and his Son Jesus Christ. According to the facts available, the governing body became associated with the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania. C. T. Russell was patently of that governing body back there in the last quarter of the nineteenth century.
1971 The Watchtower, 12/15, p. 760
Russell did not have to work together a s a group to be "the Governing Body", neither did Rutherford.
I guess, Knorr and Franz, when working together, were a grouped Governing Body of two.
. . . just like Noah and his family was an "organization" of eight.

What stomped me is this:
Were they suggesting that Nephilim could die a natural death here on earth before the flood came?
And their Nephilim 'comrads' needed to bury them and then dematerialized into thin air? That's all news to me.

The Broadcaster, July 16, 1925
The Broadcaster was a four-page, second-class publication, that hoped to reach hundreds of thousands of persons through the mails. Later, this publication was discontinued, because so many failed to reach their destination. Witnesses everywhere were then called upon to put their efforts into distribution of The Golden Age, a magazine the circulation of which today is not merely in the hundreds of thousands, but in the millions. It is now known as Awake!

A 'Million Dollar Question' on Pre-1975 Watchtower
by Scott77 inthe watchtower society of jehovah's witnesses predicted the end of the world to come in 1975. as a result, many jehovah' witnesses started withholding from having children, higher education, while others sold their houses and donating money to the watchtower society.
please, correct me.
now, a million dollar question is, what was the watchtower doing itself in anticipation of the end of the world in 1975?.

clarity >> During a watchtower study in 1962, one of the questions was,
"should we be having children in this time of the end, or be
pioneering."
Searching for that question in the 2012 Watchtower Library CD turned up nothing. Please, can you help?
